We were excited today to have Shaw
Nee Tichenor from the Sebastian County Extension office come to Mr. LeBrun's PE classes at LMS to demonstrate yoga exercises with our students. Yoga isn't just about physical fitness, it's also a powerful tool for mental and emotional well-being. Thank you Shaw Nee for coming and giving our students the opportunity to learn and grow in a fun and healthy way! 💪

November is Lung Cancer Awareness Month, and LMS was thrilled to have Allie Kelsey, from the Arkansas Tobacco Education Initiative visiting our 5th/6th grade Science classes to shed light on the dangers of vaping, smoking and using tobacco products. Mrs. Kelsey educated our students about the importance of a tobacco-free life and risks associated with vaping, smoking, and using tobacco. Knowledge is power, so let's be dedicated to empowering our students by raising awareness and protecting our children from the harms of tobacco.
