Congratulations to the LHS Concert Band on receiving all excellent ratings at the Region 8 concert assessment at Van Buren Performing Arts Center. The band is now qualified and will compete at the State Concert Assessment in April! Go band!
LHS Seniors attended the Be Pro Be Proud Draft Day at PEAK Innovation Center. The graduating seniors visited with regional employers & participated in interviews. Several of our Class of 25 graduates have received job offers. Go Arrows!

Senior Seminar was held in the LHS Library. The Class of 2025 enjoyed a senior breakfast together & received their caps & gowns. Mrs. Hardgrave, First National Vice President, talked with students about financial planning for their future. In addition, Coach Headley & Dr. Owen provided interview etiquette tips before the seniors completed mock interview questions & learned basic CPR & first aid strategies.
Mark your calendar now for the LHS Graduation ceremony which will be held Tuesday, May 20, at 7:25pm in the evening. The event will take place at the Jimmy D. Hobbs Memorial Stadium, located on the high school campus. We hope you will make plans to join us as we celebrate the LHS Class of 2025!

Thursday, February 27, Lavaca FFA took 28 members to the Logan County FFA Field Day. Members competed in Farm Business Management, Electricity, Horse and Livestock Judging, Floriculture, Vet Science, and Poultry.
