We are thrilled to announce that #everydaycounts for the ARROWS & the best way to start the day is with breakfast!
This year, at Lavaca School District, all students will be eligible to receive FREE breakfast at school, regardless of their eligibility for free or reduced meals. A FREE breakfast will be provided to EVERY STUDENT, EVERY DAY for the 2025-2026 school year.
In Arkansas, Act 123 improves access to meals for all public school students through an initiative to ensure every student is provided a nutritional start to the day which supports learning and growth throughout the school year!

Reminder from Nurse Ruthie, our District R.N. to get immunizations that are due scheduled before school starts in August. Students without documentation or a confirmed appointment date will be excluded from school. Exemptions must also be done prior to school. Reminder, exemptions have to be renewed every year.

This summer, they’ll participate in two sessions at Baptist Health, gaining valuable experience and making a difference in our area.

Our middle school students had a tasty learning experience today thanks to the County Extension office and the Arkansas Foods (ARFoods) program! 🍅Students enjoyed sampling homemade salsa featuring fresh tomatoes and received fun educational flyers with tomato nutrition facts and delicious recipes. 😋 Thank you Wendy Crawford for helping us learn that healthy can be tasty too!
