The Golden Arrow marching band marched on the field for the last time. They upheld the long-standing tradition of leaving their shoes on the field as they passed the torch to underclassmen.

Today, 7 Lavaca FFA members attended the River Valley Leadership Development Event at the Guy Fenter Education Service Cooperative. Members competed in Prepared Speaking, Extemporaneous Speaking, and Job Interview contests. This contest will help members prepare for the sub-area contest in December.

LHS students participated in a mock election yesterday. Students were able to read the election ballot & cast their vote in the library. Students were able to discuss local candidates with & without an opposing candidate. They were also allowed to ask questions regarding the issues from this election to gain a better understanding of what their voting choice would mean for each issue.
It is almost time to hit the court. LHS Arrows gave a sneak peak of their season tonight at Meet the Arrows! Thank you Lavaca Athletic Booster Club for a great event.
