The Lavaca FFA Chapter attended the Arkansas 99th Annual State FFA Convention this week in Hot Springs. Chapter officers Kayleigh Johnson, Lena Stem, Brooklyn Dooly, Heidi Jo Bias, Morgan McCorkle, Landon Taylor, Noah May, Lance Dunn, and Conner Staton attended the convention.
The chapter received awards for Foundation Plus and National Chapter. Congratulations to Morgan McCorkle on earning his FFA State Degree. Morgan was recognized & presented his award during the convention. Way to represent LHS! We are proud of you all!

Next Wednesday, April 15 - we will PURPLE UP in honor of military children. We hope all students & families will participate in this event by wearing purple!
April is designated as the Month of the Military Child in Arkansas, honoring the resilience and sacrifices of military-connected children. Throughout the month, schools are hosting a "Purple Up! Day," where communities wear purple to show support for all military branches.
