Earlier this week, LHS held Freshman Orientation for their incoming students! They participated in building tours and information sessions led by various club officers and Student Council members. Students also had the opportunity to learn about building procedures and select their courses for next year. LHS is excited to have you!

Lady Arrows advance to the semi finals in the regional softball tournament & PUNCHED THEIR TICKET INTO THE STATE TOURNAMENT next week. They will play Lamar tomorrow, Fri, May 8 at 12:00pm in Greenland! It's a great day to be an ARROW!!

Lavaca FFA held it's annual banquet this evening. The officers conducted a formal ceremony that celebrated the accomplishments of FFA members, thanked sponsors, & recognized stakeholders in attendance. Class of 2026 officers retired their jackets as the senior members wore their corduroy jackets one last time to signify the end of their active FFA journey.

Two honor students from the LHS Class of 2026 were selected to participate in the Governor's Scholastic Honors Day at the Governor's Mansion in Little Rock today. Scholastic Honors Day recognizes Arkansas' best and brightest students. Congratulations to Sydnee Beck & Grayson Proctor on your accomplishments.
