We are thrilled to announce that #everydaycounts for the ARROWS & the best way to start the day is with breakfast!

This year, at Lavaca School District, all students will be eligible to receive FREE breakfast at school, regardless of their eligibility for free or reduced meals. A FREE breakfast will be provided to EVERY STUDENT, EVERY DAY for the 2025-2026 school year.

In Arkansas, Act 123 improves access to meals for all public school students through an initiative to ensure every student is provided a nutritional start to the day which supports learning and growth throughout the school year!

Free Child Care!! Yes, you may qualify for free childcare through the Arkansas Readiness Assistance program. This is an income-based program that assistance families with childcare expenses. Please email shelly.cole@lavacaschools.com for more information.

Don't wait till the last minute to enroll your littles! Enrollment is still taking place for the Little Arrows Learning Center and for Lavaca PreK. Spaces are filling up quickly! Your family may be eligible for free child care through the Arkansas School Readiness Assistance Program. Your preschooler may be eligible for free preschool through the Arkansas Better Chance Program. Enrollment packets can be picked up at the administration office.
